BYU sophomore Zac Jones wins the 124th Utah State Amateur championship with a 4&3 victory over University of California sophomore Simon Kwon. Jones joins an elite group to claim both medalist honors and the championship. Jones joins the pod.

Former State Am champ Dan Horner with live, on-course updates during the final of the State Am between Zac Jones and Simon Kwon at Soldier Hollow on the live show on ESPN 700. BYU sophomore Zac Jones will face off against University of California freshman Simon Kwon, both Utah high school products, in the finals of the Utah Golf Association State Am at Soldier Hollow. Top seeds and BYU teammates Zac Jones and David Timmins advance to the quarterfinals in the Utah State Am at Soldier Hollow. Jones will play Steven Croft while Timmins takes on Simon Kwon. John Owen v Cameron Howe and Jackson Holman v Hayden Banz round out the final eight. Kwon joins the pod.
