Dixie state men's basketball finishes the season 8-13 overall with losing their last two homes games to New Mexico st, regardless the trailblazers came out and fought hard against the aggies and made a late run the 2nd half to cut the lead by New Mexico st. to 9 with 5 mins left, but it was not enough for the trailblazers. still a great season for the Men's basketball team as they will bounce back next season 

Coming off their first win the D1 era Dixie state was pose to prove last week win over Tarleton st was no fluke, the trailblazers strike first in the game with a run by Freshmen RB Quali Conley and would lead 14-3 mid 2nd quarter, but it was not enough with the aggies scoring a late TD before half to make it 14-10 and scoring 3 TDs in the 2nd half to beat the trailblazers 36-29 dropping the trailblazers to 1-1 in the 5 game spring schedule season so far.
