"Shout," like many legendary rock songs, is appealing because it allows the listener to interpret it in his or her own way. Tears for Fears, on the other hand, wrote the song to motivate people to protest. They even encourage the audience to do so collectively, as in facing authoritarian institutions in their lives on both a personal and collective level.

The song begs the listener to do so as an act of protest rather than relief.

"Shout" is a song written to motivate individuals to tackle serious difficulties in their lives, with Roland Orzabal irritated that they aren't already doing so.

This is my take on the song with a trancy mood.

The years 2020-21 was the years the world stopped.

People had the time to think more and reevaluate the way they were living up until now. Sometimes, a stop is mandatory to heal and do therapeutic and meaningful things in order to keep going.

The message is clearer more than ever.

Do things you cherish and love and you'll be rewarded with happiness and fulfillment.

No matter the obstacles and the harder you try to achieve your goals it is essential to try harder and keep going till you succeed.

Kindness and tolerance is the key.
