Utopia means “no place,” a word used to describe the idea of a perfect world that exists only in imagination. Throughout history, humans have dreamed about better societies, fairer systems, and happier futures. Many ideas that once seemed impossible, like democracy or equality, later became reality because people believed in those dreams. Utopia therefore acts as a direction that pushes humanity forward. At the same time, when we look at how much progress has already happened, we can realize that what we have today might already look like a utopia to people from the past.
