When did the Unitarian Universalist church become welcoming? As we look forward to National Coming Out Day on October 11 and hosting the Drag Story Time at the church on October 8, we take an honest look at where we began as a faith.

Along with the rising importance of freedom in thought and identity, we also see a rise in efforts to control our minds and behaviors. Where did modern fascism come from? What is the liberal church·s response?

We speak of welcoming, but what does it mean to do so in real life?

Nurturing moral and spiritual growth is the foundation of any faith. What are we exploring this year? The children and youth begin their program today.

This Ingathering marks the start of the church year. We offer our commitments to one another and celebrate being part of community that is called to create more love, freedom, growth, and wholeness in the world. Bring a small portion of water from your summer journeys, however far or near, to add to our common bowl during the service.
