Travis Laster ’95, vice chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery, discusses his experiences overseeing legal disputes in an age of increasing shareholder activism from mutual funds, hedge funds and corporate activists. The Delaware Court of chancery is widely recognized as the pre-eminent forum for corporate legal disputes, because the majority of U.S. businesses are incorporated in the state.
