This week on the Uncharted Podcast, Dr. Andy Roark and practice management geek Stephanie Goss are in the mailbag to take on a question from a practice manager colleague who is struggling with hiring. They have a candidate who feels like a good culture fit. Which is a huge win and probably has you wondering "What is the problem???" Well, this candidate is a good culture fit and they are less skilled than the manager's current assistants. And they are currently making a wage that is both higher than the existing assistants AND over the top end of this practice's pay scale. The manager is wondering what to do but more so, how do they know when it is time to adjust the pay scale? Because they thought they were paying well.
