"From a young age I have always had an entrepreneurial outlook. From selling neon shoes laces and comic books in primary school and then buying and selling clothes throughout secondary school, my dream was to always start my own business. Luckily I found the Team Entrepreneurship course at UWE Bristol which was the perfect place to start a business.

In the last year I started and now run Velvaere Studios which is a home gym design and equipment fit out company.

The company was started through my passion for fitness and wellness, but I was also inspired when travelling around Scandinavia, hence the company name Velvaere which means wellness and wellbeing in Norwegian.

At Velvaere Studios we strive to create remarkable fitness and wellness studios through excellence in design, equipment supply and customer service."

Morris was released from Kamiti Maximum Security Prison Kenya, after serving 13 years on Death Row for a crime he did not commit.

In September of 2018, Morris finally achieved the justice he deserved and was released as an innocent man, wrongly accused. His release was aided by the work of the African Prisons Project; a programme UWEBristol law students support through pro bono work.
