The world has changed dramatically, really fast. You have questions: Where did this come from? Isn't it like the Flu? Am I going to get sick? When will this end? And how will the world change when it's over? I have done research and try to answer as many questions as I can.
I asked my students to guide me in those questions, and I did as much research as possible over the last few days since we are all social distancing, and I wanted to share with you what I learned and what I think is going to happen. Disclaimer: No, I am not a doctor, or an epidemiologist, or a virologist, but I am a biologist/educator with a lot of time on my hands and a keen interest in how this virus is affecting the world and how it will affect the world long term.
I have compiled a list of the questions I sought to answer, a summarized script, and all the resources used in the link here. If you have questions, reach me at my twitter or instagram: @vscienceclasses I hope this helps, and I hope you are getting though this well.
Back for an interview with a couple of my students who made a bit of a controversial podcast about climate change and Greta Thunberg. Listen as we discuss their thoughts on climate change and the message that Greta is getting out into the world.

This week I interview the President & Vice-President of the Nature & Conservation Club at Sharyland Advanced Academic Academy and Sharyland High School. Michele Pompellio and Daphne Rodriguez-Fresno tell me about why they founded the club, and what they hope founding a club like this means for the communities of both high schools, as well as the community of the Rio Grande Valley.
My students and I discuss the role of government in the food industry.

My students and I sit down to talk about Offshore Drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, and how we can impact this area no matter where you live. Also, stay tuned to the end to learn a little bit of the biology behind the feelings of Valentine's Day.
