I reached out to five Walt Disney World experts and asked them to answer one simple question. That question was, “what is the number one tip you always share with someone when they are planning a Walt Disney World vacation”. A simple enough question but the answers I got are all very different but each one is oh so very useful. In this episode you will discover all these very important tips.

We’ve been speculating on how the reopening was going to look for a while now. And this week I was lucky enough to be joined by Brendan and Katherine of the Detour to Neverland podcast, to discuss their experiences inside the newly reopened theme parks.
They got to attend the Passholder preview day at the Magic Kingdom and we’ve had a really fun conversation talking about their experience.

When Walt Disney had the idea to create Disneyland the main premise was to create a place where the whole family could have fun. Not a place filled with just attractions for kids. Or a place filled with crazy rides that the young ones couldn’t participate in. But a place that every member of the family could go on and enjoy.
Over the years, yes they’ve added quite a bit of attractions that have a height requirement but there are still plenty of options for the entire family to enjoy.
It’s weird because with each new attraction that gets announced, especially in the last few years, the majority of them will have a height requirement. So we get super excited about the thrill rides.
For many kids the first time they are tall enough to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, or Expedition Everest or Flight of Passage is always a big deal. But there are still so many great options that anyone and everyone can enjoy regardless of their height.
And that’s what we are discussing here today. We’ve got our Power Rankings of the best non-height requirement attractions at Walt Disney World.

So when this whole pandemic started we kind of stopped talking about the news here on the WDW Opinion podcast. Mainly because things were constantly changing but also because for a while we knew we just weren’t going to get a whole lot of news coming our way.
Well in the last week and a half I think we’ve gotten the most amount of news, since maybe like D23 last year. Just an onslaught of information.
Today we’re going to try to talk about all of it but rather than just regurgitate the info, we also want to share our opinions on it, hence the name of the show, but also we want to talk to you about how all this info might affect your future Walt Disney World vacations.

Walt Disney World theme parks have been closed for three months now. Their reopening plans are in place. It will still take awhile to get back to 100% normal. But that light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer and closer. And other theme parks in Orlando have started to reopen.
But alas, as someone who does not live in Orlando I have been unable to visit these places. Yet, thanks to the power of the glorious internet I have been able to follow along and live vicariously as others have forged a path into these other theme parks as they reopen.
One individual I keep turning to whenever he launches a new video, is joining us today. We’re going to talk about his experiences in these reopened theme parks and I can’t wait to hear from him.
He is Vincent from VincentVision and I’m very happy to have him on the show.

Over the last few weeks we’ve gotten some interesting news when it comes to the reopening of Walt Disney World.
While the news is changing and updating almost daily we figured now would be a good time to discuss what we know so far and share our opinions on it all.
We’re going to talk about opening procedures, what the resorts are going to look like, what it might be like in the parks and also the new reservation systems and tools Disney will be providing to help guests on their trips during this re-opening phase.

First it was $100. Then it was $300. Now we’re wrapping up our Daily Budget in Walt Disney World series, by telling you how we would spend $600 a day in each of the four Disney World theme parks.
This week we are treating ourselves baby. We got a stimulus check burning a hole in our pocket and we got to spend it.
If you haven’t yet be sure to check out episode 84 and 85 to hear the first two episodes in the series. Those are important episodes because it lays the groundwork for what we will be talking about today. Same as the last two weeks, our tickets, transportation and hotel is all paid for. We do however need to pay for any food we consume, souvenirs we buy and other experiences we want to indulge in.
