As of December 2012, the United Nations World Tourism Organization estimated that there were 1 billion people travelling the world. And amongst the billion- an increasing number of them are eco-conscious tourists.  

Ecotourism has now become a popular trend in the tourism industry. Consumers are becoming more discerning and demanding on where they spend their hard earned money and precious holiday time.
