On todays show I introduced a new segment called “Battle of the Consoles”. Basically I play the same track from the same game just on different consoles. I hope it goes over well and I hope to receive a lot of feedback on this. Of course the regular music show segments are here. Thank you [...]

Here it is folks!  The show how you all wanted it.  I once again cut in every couple songs like a true DJ with the track names and some fun facts. Also returning this show was the requests and everyone’s favorite “Guess the Song” .  Since Portal 2 was just released, there’s a “special” at [...]

In honor of the fan made “Streets of Rage Remake” I decided to play 6 tracks from all three Streets of Rage games.  Everyone knows that Streets of Rage had some of the best music on the Sega Genesis well other than Sonic.  I plan on reviewing the “Streets of Rage Remake” on the next [...]

I felt nostalgic today, so it seems like RCVGM will be going back to its roots.  Today’s show is complete with the classic music show intro and segments such as requests and the famous “Then and Now”!!  The music in this weeks installment is nothing but Nintendo music, but from the less popular titles. Sure [...]

It’s a new week, therefore it’s time to bring you guys the hits of yesterday….gaming style. Today’s show is all about Donkey Kong!!! I hand picked 5 tracks from each of the SNES games and I hope you all approve. Donkey Kong Country brought forth some innovative work on the SNES sound and graphic wise. [...]

Yes Red/Blue. Cause you all thought I’d do Black/White.   If I get enough requests for the Black/White OST I’ll play it, but this being a retro podcast I thought this was the better way. Plus what better way to celebrate a new Pokemon game with the music where it all started? So grab your [...]

As you all know I have a strong love for Secret of Mana. I did a whole Retrocore episode based on the game so I gots to thinking…….why not play the music??? And that’s why I, The High Priest DJ Sexy Lips bring you the hits of yesterday…..gaming style with the Secret of Mana OST. [...]

I know its been sometime, and you’ve heard it before. But this time I promise…… RETROCORE IS BACK!!!!! Today marks the beginning of our return with music from Scott Pilgrim VS the World. Not a fan of the movie, but the game is an awesome throwback to River City Ransom. I also slopped together a [...]

Again, after a long absence I return to bring you the hits of yesterday….gaming style!!!! In celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog 4′s release I hand picked some of my favorite Sonic tunes. Starting from the original, all the way up to Sonic & Knuckles.  Of course at the end I added tunes from Sonic 4 [...]

Today’s show was different from most. Gone is the “guess the song” and the “then and now”. Don’t worry, they will return. I just thought I’d share the entire 007 Goldeneye N64 soundtrack since its been announced as a Wii exclusive!! Thats’s right, a complete remake of the FPS that started it all. So set [...]
