It's week three of Advent and it's all about Joy.

The second week of Advent.

Advent starts with a message of Hope.

Who are you, O man?

God’s will is not thwarted by the evil plans and actions of men and spiritual forces. What He purposes will come to pass and those He foreknew and predestined to be His own, He calls, justifies, and glorifies, conforming them in to the image of Christ. There is nothing that can come between God’s elect and the love of God in Christ Jesus.

The righteous requirement of the law has been fulfilled in us through Christ’s atonement and we are not under condemnation. The body of death is passing away and the Spirit of God has taken residence within us and will also raise our mortal bodies to life. God’s magnificent plan to justify us through the death of Christ has not only saved us from His wrath, it’s also granted us adoption as children of God, fellow heirs with Christ through His suffering and glory.
