Life is weird right now due to coronavirus. We want to step in and share ideas for how you can make the most out of your extended time at home with your kids. Make sure to listen to idea number 10 at the end of the list. Your family will have an opportunity to work on a project together!

10 things to do at home with your kids
1. Share funny stories from the past
2. Do improv games (Family Story)
3. Share High/Low/Buffalo
4. FaceTime friends and family (hangouts.google.com)
5. Teach/learn a board or card game (App Idea: Heads Up)
6. Watch a movie or TV show and have a conversation about it afterward
7. Mandatory quiet time
8. Write a letter!
9. Cook a meal together as a family
10. Create a family video!
Video guidelines:
-One video per family
-At least one child and one parent need to appear in the video
-Younger siblings and pets may be included
-Three minutes maximum
-You are NOT allowed to use these words:
Virus
Coronavirus
COVID-19
Pandemic
Quarantine
-You MUST use this line of dialogue at least once: “Don’t forget the dungeons. Give us a hand with this door!”
-You must include a broom as a prop, to be used however you want
-The video must have a beginning, middle, and end, so it flows like a story
-Any genre is allowed: Action, adventure, comedy, mystery, fantasy
-Due by end of day on Sunday, March 29
-Submission: Record and post your video online (YouTube, Facebook, etc.) and email the link to us
-If you need tech help, ask your kids, and if you still need help, ask us!
