Job learns lessons about himself and the God who loves him and so can you. Job Chapter 42 will show what happens when need is met by grace. Your faith story can take others to the place of grace. His friends and his daughters tell Job's story. Will your friends and your family tell yours?

 

A high view of God gives us an accurate view of ourselves and our sufferings. God is not obliged to explain Himself. He asks 19 questions to Job in Chapters 40-41 that lead to only one answer. We will take a look at the questions and where they lead.

Reflecting on the mightiness of God brings us to more important discoveries about Him that ease could never provide. When we miss God's grandeur, our suffering becomes His means through which we experience powerful spiritual awakening. Job Chapters 38-39 will guide our discoveries.

The silence of God builds our reverence for him. When we quiet our complaint, God speaks, not to explain Himself but to reveal Himself. God's ways and means are beyond human understanding. Throughout Job Chapters 32-37, discover how God's greatness comforts and strengthens.

Sometimes we don't get it. We make presumptions about the sufferings of others. Job's friends teach us what NOT to look for and how NOT to comfort those who grieve. There is meaning and purpose behind suffering that just plain confounds and yet leads us closer to God.
