After spending the day co-hosting Sam at the Area 31 training area here in Ottawa, we chatted with Sam over some pints about what he's been up to, whats on th horizon and a bit about what makes Sam such a legend!

Back in 2018 we met Andy at the Dacre, put on by Rally Connex....back then he was riding a Ducati Multistrada in places that would blow most peoples minds! 
The big bike love stuck and now Andy, along with his wife Susan, have created an off road riding school for big bikes, aptly named, Heavy Enduro.
Between teaching folks how to not die while riding their big adventure bikes in the gnar, Andy has been busy pushing limits on his highly customized Yamaha T7 on out-there adventure in the desert as well as pushing limits at various enduro...yes, that's right ENDURO events across the country!
As if that wasn't enough, there may or may not be plans for Andy to compete at this years RedBull Romaniacs on a T7!
Clearly this dudes a savage on a bike, but he is also an awesome dude and we had a blast chatting with him.

The Hard Enduro scene is alive and well in Nova Scotia thanks to the efforts of Jordan Schreiner and his @novascotia_hardenduro crew!, We've been following these guys for a while now and finally managed to catch up with Jordan to get the 411 on all things Hard Enduro on Canadas East coast.

If are not yet following these guys, definitely give them a follow! They ride more than pretty much anyone else in the country and are making some seriously cool looking trails out there!

On October 17th, 2022, Jay and I left Barry's Bay, ON,on our KTM 1090r adventure bike on an 11000km journey that would take us down the east coast of the USA and across the southern states, ultimately heading for San Jose Del Cabo in Baja sur.  We crossed a few BDR's, met a bunch of cool people and rode through mind-blowing landscapes and scenery. 
This is the story of the trip back up!
