Everyone who has been saved has been given a gift. Not just the gift of salvation, but a spiritual gift that is intended to be used to reach others. We are not saved to come to church for an hour and then leave, never to lift a finger for the Lord or to do something for Him. We are saved to do work for the Lord.

Do not neglect the gift that has been given to you. Tonight Pastor Jared shows us that the gift has a place, it has power, and it is permanent!

This morning Pastor Jared took us mountain climbing to visit with God! We visited with the God of the Mountain today! And what a journey it was!

We climbed Mount Sinai and saw the truly awesome power of God, where His presence caused even the mountain itself to tremble and quake.

We climbed up Mount Zion, that Heavenly city where there's an open door for us on all sides, no matter how you approach it.

But in order to get from Mount Sinai to Mount Zion, we must travel across Mount Calvary, where Jesus didn't just take our place on a cross but He BECAME our sin!

In order to get to know someone, you must spend some time with them, learning about them. You can do that by reading about them, but you can also do that by speaking with them. God is the same way. In order to get to know Him you can spend time in His Word, reading about Him. Or, you can spend time by talking with Him in Prayer.

There are many ways a person can pray, and many different positions you can find yourself in as you pray.

Tonight Bro. Mike shows us three of those positions and what each one means. Are you spending time in prayer with God?

Soon after Christ's resurrection and appearance to the Disciples, He appeared to them on the shore of the water, telling them to cast their nets on the other side of the boat. They did so, and the nets were so heavy that they were difficult to pull in. The Disciples realized who the man on the shore was and they docked and dined with Him.

During their breakfast, Jesus began asking Peter if he loved Him. Peter answered Him three times; of course he loved the Lord. Why would He even ask that?

Here's the thing. Peter had just denied Christ three times before His crucifixion. When you study out what Jesus was asking, He was asking about agape love. Agape love is the deepest, truest sense of love. It is love with action. But Peter answered with phileo love; brotherly, kindly love.

Jesus' question was not just to Peter, but to all of us. Do you love Him today? Do you love Him with agape love? Are you willing to not just say you love Him, but to show that you love Him?

If you truly love Him today there will be action to your love. Listen as Bro. Mike shows us three specific things that you will do if you truly love Jesus.

The Bible says that Naaman was a mighty and honorable man. But, he was also a leper. But he knew that if he could get in touch with Elisha then he could call upon God to heal him. So he sent word to Elisha that he needed healing. But the word he got back from Elisha was not what he expected! And he didn't want to obey.

How often do we limit God by our unwillingness to do what God has asked us to do? How often do we delay obedience? Maybe the response isn't what we were expecting. But even in those times we must allow God to work!

Are you caught up in your own thoughts and limiting the moving of God? Are you holding on to your own pride, trying to do it in your own power, in the place you want to do it? Or are you seeking after God, hearing His direction, and obeying Him?
