God goes ahead of you and he is behind you. He is with you and he invites you to trust in him and revel in his presence and protection in the battles of life.

The burning bush may be unique, however powerful encounters with God are available to everyone; to enter God’s presence, experience his holiness and to answer his call upon you.

There is a real limit to our own strength, our willpower, even our stubbornness has limits. If you want real strength for what you are facing, if you want to live big for God, you can only do so by his strength.

Thriving relationships grow out of godly surrender. More importantly redeemed relationships shine with Christlikeness.

One of the boldest prayers you can pray is to pray for other Christians, the Church, to be filled with Jesus.

Grace is God’s gift to us, paid for by Jesus, worked through us by the Holy Spirit. Grace redeems us and grace moves us forward with purpose. Grace binds us together in unity. Grace humbles us, grace blesses us. We need the gift of God’s grace.

As we reflect on 250 years as a nation it is good to remember God's call to act justly, love mercy and to walk humbly with God.
