His technique called the neuro trauma healing process looks at addressing this problem. The degree of trauma can vary widely from the extreme to the more subtle, but no matter to what level there still may be unprocessed information stuck "looping" in our central nervous system which creates a variety of behaviour patterns which may be inhibiting people in their lives.
