Vanguard Church of Colorado Springs

We're in full gear with our summer series, "CREED"; a deep dive into the biblical and theological precedent for our united benediction, The Sending. We continue with our Student Pastor Micah Schwarz with the phrase, "I am Chosen, Forgiven, Redeemed and Restored."

Our Summer series this year is entitled CREED. At the end of every service we have united benediction entitled, "The Sending". Throughout the summer months we will biblically address each line/phrase in 'The Sending' to remember what Vanguard stands for, and ultimately what we stand for as believers in Jesus. Pastor Aaron Williams kicks off our sermon series with "God, you are our Father, and we will follow you..."

We've come to the final message in our 26 week series in the Gospel of Matthew, JESUS: Making His Story Our Story. Pastor Kelly Williams details the signs and events that must take place in order for Jesus to return. He reminds us to watch, pray, and be ready.

This is the second to last sermon in our beloved Matthew series, " Making Jesus' Story Our Story", AND it's Baptism Sunday for us here at Vanguard Church! Pastor Kelly will detail the Kingdom of Heaven as Jesus described it: both it's appearance and how to enter in. Immediately after this sermon we baptized people into new life and welcomed them into the Kingdom.

Our Matthew series, "Making Jesus' Story, Our Story" continues as we begin to land the plane on after nearly 6 months. Pastor Kelly opens the scriptures to talk about Peter, James, and John on the Mount of Transfiguration and their response to a massive change in how they see Jesus and what they means for us as followers of Jesus.

Pastor Kelly continues in our Matthew series with a hilarious clip from the movie "Jerry Maguire". Pastor Kelly talks to us about financial stewardship and what Jesus says about the stewardship of all our resources.

"What must I do to obtain eternal life?" This is the question the Rich Young Ruler asked Jesus in Matthew 19. As we continue in our series, Jesus: Making His Story Our Story, Pastor Kelly breaks down the reality of eternal life and how we obtain it according to the words of Jesus.

Happy Mother's Day!!! As a wife of 29 years, a mother of 5 children, and a pastor, Pastor Tosha Williams knows more than a little about relying on God to be a good mother and how He has held her family steady in the midst of life's highs and lows. Today we get to hear from a mother's heart.

This week, Pastor Kelly talks to us about the spiritual authority that Jesus has and what that means for us. We continue in our Matthew series, Jesus: Making His Story Our Story.

We continue with our series in Matthew through the life and words of Jesus, as our Student Pastor Micah Schwarz tells his testimony and encourages us to see the challenges of life as a means to grow into deeper relationship with Jesus.
