From the 10am Mass on Sunday, August 3, 2025, the Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year C at St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens.

I kind of winged this homily. I wrote a homily and didn't like it. When I went to print it, it wouldn't print. I took it as a sign from God, scrapped the homily, and preached off the cuff. Here are the three points I was trying to make:

1. Vanity of Vanities
2. Earthly things
3. I'm going to need a bigger... heart
