in the American equivalent of Retraining of Racehorses during an

enlightening chat with Ilka.

The Festive show begins with Ilka reviewing the successful Advent event held

at Saint Wendred's and features an interview by Stephen with Clare Fleming a

keen art follower who was there on Sunday 1 December.

As promised in episode 29 the show includes an extensive interview with Canadian equine artist Liz Chomicki.

Liz reveals why she started in art, her style and how she connected with Art & Horse Racing Gallery. Two stunning pieces of her art now reside and are available at Saint Wendred's.

On the turf Ilka gave her thoughts on White Mist's improving run at Kempton

on December 4th where she was a narrowly beaten 5th. In addition, Ilka

reports on the arrival of Just Once's yearling colt, who made it just in time for the

Advent event.

Ilka ended the show by reflecting on the stables' turf successes, the

continued growth of Art & Horse Racing in 2024 as well as looking ahead to

the next exhibition at Ally Pally.

Ilka reviews Art Fair East in Norwich, the result of the remembrance charity auction and the City Saddles visit. She also reveals more details about the special advent event at St Wendred’s on Sunday 1 December between 10am-4pm where you can see all the fabulous art on display with other art lovers and a festive glass of mulled wine in hand.

On the turf Ilka reflected on a difficult night for the Vantage Point Racing club horse Kingwell at Wolverhampton on 21 November and recent outings by White Mist and her National Hunt mare Summerleaze.
