Bio:

Tim was introduced into the Melbourne underground dance music scene, by a good mate, in the late 90s. He fell in love with the music and it has been a passion ever since. He loved the sounds of John Digweed, Nick Warren, Seb Fontaine, Paul Oakenfold, Dave Seaman, as well as local Melbourne DJs Sean Quinn, Jason D’Costa, Mark James to name a few. Tim started mixing back in 2005. In 2010, Tim started his own monthly internet radio show called “Elements”, where he played 2 hours of deep progressive tunes.

Tim temporarily had a break from the radio show to start a family, however, the passion for music never subsided. He started mixing again to create sets for friends and the odd guestmix on radio shows, which proceeded into Tim developing a mix series on his soundcloud page called Likelihood & Consequence. Tim, along with long time and good friend Seven Wells started a podcast called Variable Frequencies, which is now a radio show on DNA Radio, airing twice a month. Variable Frequencies focuses on showcasing some of the finest underground sounds and dj talent on the planet, hosting exclusive guest mixes every month.

How can you describe Tim’s DJ style? Tim refers to his sets or style being mainly underground deep house, tech house and techno.

His influences these days are across a number of genres, the likes of Henry Saiz, Guy Mantzur, Stephan Bodzin, Hernan Cattaneo, Robert Babicz, Eelke Kleijn, Oliver Schories, Sacsha Braemer and Jeremy Olander to name a few…

A regular contributor writer and music critic for several music magazines such as Decoded (UK), Underground Tel Aviv; Priya is based out of Mumbai, India.

Her vision has always been to entertain, educate and be an independent voice on music, machines and the performers who make all our lives so rich and colorful with what they do, to translate all of it through words that engage and to make a difference.

A former night club programmer, blogger she has added another dimension to her artistry as a DJ, covering the spectrum of Deep Tech, Progressive House and Melodic Techno at some of the most prolific hot spots and electronic dance music nights that celebrate the underground.

She has been billed in several international DJ tours such as : Spartaque, India tour - Goa, A Day of sLick 2014/2015, BLOND:ISH tour of India, plus opening and closing sets for John Digweed in Mumbai 2015, in recent times warmed up for Agents of Time in Goa, billed at ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) Global Sessions showcase with Ankytrixx & Friends (Mum) + opening sets for Roger Martinez (Deep In Dance) at O:H Cha and Martin Roth at Ruka.

Priya also hosts a radio show titled AMBROSIA on DNA Radio FM, 1ST Tuesday of every month.

Two dj’s and musical minds Andrei & Vitomir came together as Studio Deep in 2010.

From the very start they found that their union is not just a duet between two dj’s but a tandem of two loving the same sound people. They never prepare their tracklists for the parties. It’s always improvisation through having their own unique vision of deep house.

Searching for some new sounds they began to create their own music with deep bass, swirling percussions, and warmness of the summer night. A lot of hard work and experimenting soon evolved into their own deep sound.

Jaaps parents failed miserably at one thing, music. Years and years exposed to horrifying (Dutch language) music, poor Jaap discovers electronic music years later... As of then Jaap found his passion. He listened to sets, mix cd's and radio recordings of Tiësto, Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Sasha, John Digweed, everything he could get his hands on. Not much later he started buying vinyl, and this time no vinyl with Dutch music!

Nowadays the world is getting to know his music... For example by guestmixes in numerous broadcast on Radio 538 (the number 1 radiostation in The Netherlands), guestmixes in Dennis Ruyers Dance Department (March and June 2011) and Tiësto's Club Life (July 2010).

His productions (original tracks, remixes, bootlegs) played lots of times by the world's big time dj's. Artists like Sasha, John Digweed, Tiësto, Dave Seaman and Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West) are playing Jaaps productions over and over again and are dying to play his new stuff every time.

The styles/genres that Jaap plays, varies every gig, depending on the gig and crowd. Sometimes he plays very deep with deephouse and minimal, other times he treats the crowd with a more uplifting or raw sounding set. It all depends on the evening...

Bio:

I remember my love for dance music starting around the age of 10, soon after, I owned my first pair of turntables. At that age I was very much into the happy hardcore scene, the music became an addiction and a few short years later I managed to get my first gig at a local Rave, Club 2000. Things started to build quickly from there and I went on to DJ at now infamous clubs throughout the North East and West.

As well as this, I started promoting my own fledgling club night, Oasis. It went from strength to strength at a rapid pace and within months the club was sold out for every event. This enabled me to introduce some of the biggest names in the hardcore scene to the local area.

As I matured, so did my musical tastes, the natural progression for me was into trance, then into progressive trance/house. These styles contained the same uplifting elements as the hardcore sound I used to play but on a gradually deeper level. The more I got into prog, the more I got into the techier sound, championed at the time by the likes of John Digweed, Sasha & Danny Howells.

I started producing music around 2000 with my good friend and inspiration Michael Burns (Blue Haze/Panoptic). In 2001, I was lucky enough to work with Chris Scott (Lexicon Avenue/Echomen), the result of this was the track "Dark Light" under our Indaba guise. Later signed to Prolekult, it featured on Danny Howellsí Renaissance The Masters mix, DC-10 Ibiza ñ The Album Part 2 as well as receiving big support from the the scenes major players.

Releases soon followed this on Confi-Dance and Minimal Records, this time with Michael Burns under our Gazor guise. Our tracks Stabilized & Overlight were well received, featuring in the charts and playlists of DJ's the world over.

Nowadays, I donít like to tie myself to any particular musical genre. My tastes are varied and eclectic, something which is reflected in my DJ sets and also my production. The basis is still very much on that "techy" sound but you will find elements of a lot more throughout.

Throughout my career, I have shared the DJ box with Lexicon Avenue, Ian Ossia, Dave Seaman, Funk D'Void and Echomen.

Gavin Lucas (aka Gavatron 74) is a Melbourne based DJ with a long history in varied forms of electronic music. Collecting and playing vinyl since the late 80's he has ridden the wave of many changes in musical styles and technologies, one fact has always been common in his music and that is he tends towards the deep, darker side of sounds.

Gavin was the resident Saturday night DJ for the seminal Melbourne club OneSixOne for the opening two years, also holding residencies at Melbourne club stalwarts Saratoga and P.O.W.
