On this July 24th, 2020 live recording we take on the topic of trauma, mental health, and depression in our community. We take a look into the motives behind celebrities and their disorders, whether or not they're exploiting them and using their disorders or traumas for capital. When do we know to take them seriously especially as representatives in the black community. How do you deal with mental issues? What is your take on the status of mental health in the black community? On this part 2 episode we break it down even further with our special guest speaker, specializing in mental health.
In this episode of VaVai Talks we discuss if being Pro-Black is sustainable in our society. We touch on topics like Nick Cannon, Colin Kaepernick, and other people who have made a stance to support black culture and how they've managed to become successful or not. But first we had to talk about our "Current Tea Vents" which include Red Table Talks with Jada and Will Smith. We also chopped it up about Megan Thee Stallion getting shot by Tory Lanez, and again Nick Cannon and the challenge he's facing just for telling his truth. This episode was recorded live with an audience on July 17, 2020. For information on how you can join our live audience just leave us a comment and we will be sure to get the information and details to you. Thank you for tuning in and have a blessed Friday. Until next week!! Toodle-loo!! -VaVai
What is "a relationship" these days? What does "boo'd up" mean? Is there even a difference? As we explore each subject, we tap a little into one of our hosts "relationship". We ask questions like, "Are you single until marriage?" Or, "What box do you check when filling out legal forms, single or married?" It's interesting to hear the different views and perspectives surrounding our main topic. And last, but not least, we end the show with our Royal In Your Own Fashion Awards and a positive note to our audience. This show was recorded live on Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 at 10AM.
In this episode we discuss "Current Tea Vents" like July 4th, Hamilton, and Kanye West 2020. We also asked our audience if they were married or single or "in a relationship" as we define what a relationship is in 2020 and is there a difference between 'boo'd up" or "in a relationship. More in "Boo'd Up or Nah" Part 2
