This weekend at Vineyard Boise, our Sunday gathering looked a little different—and a lot more joyful. 💛

Instead of a traditional sermon, our VB Kids filled the room with laughter, music, and truth through their Christmas play, “Dr. Newheart’s Christmas Cure.” What started as a playful story about the “Christmas Day Dumps” became a beautiful reminder—for kids and adults alike—that all the stuff, sparkle, and traditions of Christmas can’t quite fill our hearts on their own.

Through song, storytelling, and plenty of kid-powered charm, we were invited to remember what Christmas is really about: Jesus coming close, offering us something deeper than presents—a new heart. Watching our kids lead us there was a gift in itself.

Whether you were in the room cheering them on or you’re watching from home, we hope this brings a smile, stirs hope, and reminds you why this season matters.
