The Believers Pray for Boldness

28 to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place.

29 And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, 30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

GENEROUS GIVING

Perhaps it’s not so far-fetched to see the Second Person of the Trinity, the Word, Who was present “In the beginning” (John 1: 1), coming to lay down His life and take it up again (John 10: 18) not only as the Son of Man but also as a Child of other races?

A merino sheep from Australia is making headlines after he was discovered in the wild with a massively overgrown fleece.

Chris the sheep strayed from his flock about five years ago and grew a fleece that was about five times its normal size, says Tammy Ven Dange from Australia’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA)

At the time of his discovery, Chris’s wool had grown so large and thick that his eyes were obscured and he could barely walk.

The sheer weight of his fleece also made it difficult for Chris to get around, making it more likely he could become dinner for a passing predator, Burgher says.

Chris was also in danger of falling over and not being able to get back up, Judy Marteniuk, DVM, an associate professor at Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, tells Yahoo Health. “If sheep have a large wool coat, they can get on their side and back and be unable to rise,” she says. “Then, basically, they go into heart failure and can die.”
