In this auspicious time of Navaratri, (nine nights) we worship the Goddess by recognising her glories. In this recognition we see that we too are pervaded by her Shakti as the embodiment of sacredness.
Durga Saptashloki or Devi Saptashloki are seven powerful verses from the Devi Mahatmyam, a set of 700 verses. Out of compassion for those devotees who cannot chant all these verses, Devi has given us only a set of 7 shlokas to chant called Durga Saptashloki. We learn, chant and seek Devi's grace.
