I'm excited about the upcoming break and will be off for 12 days, catching up on baby care and rest. Speaking of babies, congratulations to my cousin's son Dusty and his wife Haley, who recently had twins!
In other news, the pre-orders for my book "Vegas 101" are going well, and I’m planning a paperback release after my vacation. The book has received positive feedback, and I'm thrilled to share it with more readers soon.
I'm also looking forward to meeting some old friends in Vegas, including Andy from Times Productions and the Kenos. It's always great to catch up with friends who live far away.
On a genealogical note, I discovered a fascinating connection: my father's close friend from the Army, Jim Ryman, was the uncle of Tim Walz, the current governor of Minnesota and the Democratic nominee for vice president. Small world!
