Today I am starting a new series on Vegetarianism. What is vegetarianism? What is its origin? Why choose this practice? And how beneficial it is for you. My point here is not only the advocacy of this practice but giving insights of vegetarianism through the knowledge of Rajyog spirituality. 

 

Many of you must have read and heard about this topic. Many are well versed, well read, and  certainly would be practicing it too. There is a lot of material floating on the internet on how to practice vegetarianism.

Numerous websites have benefits of this approach and the importance of it. Becoming a vegan or a vegetarian is an in thing now in the Western culture. It is considered as a fashion statement that you are a vegan.

Plus it has several health benefits too. Plant based diets are easy on the digestive system. Milk products or dairy products when deleted out of the food choices show rewarding effects on the gut and various  skin ailments..
