What exactly is vocation? And why is it more than just choosing a career? In this episode, Ben and Ms. Keyo invite listeners into a deeper understanding of vocation as a personal calling—a lifelong journey of purpose, identity, and spiritual growth.

The podcast title, Veils in Vocation, reflects the beautiful idea that sometimes our true calling is hidden from us—not because it’s lost, but because we’re not ready to receive it. Through discernment, experience, and grace, that calling is slowly unveiled.

They also introduce three saints who exemplify powerful callings through courage and sacrifice:

• St. Charles Lwanga, a Ugandan martyr who remained faithful to the end

• St. Maria Goretti, who forgave her attacker and witnessed radical purity and mercy

• The Blessed Virgin Mary, who said yes to the greatest calling of all
