1. God calls the husband to be a leader in the home – a leader sacrifices to meet the needs of his wife.

2. A husband is to love his wife.

3. A husband is to learn his wife.

Pastor Timothy shows from Romans 11:33-36 that a healthy theology leads to a hearty worship. God is infinite/”deep”.

Humanity is finite/limited.

God’s glory is the supreme goal of all.

Pastor Timothy shows that in Romans 11:16-24 Paul targets the Gentile Christians in order to address an error in their thinking regarding their own salvation: they have forgotten grace.

Paul’s call to us Gentiles is to not be arrogant about our salvation. Fear God. We are to be grateful for the heritage we’ve received by God in the patriarchs. We are to be grateful and concerned for the Jews. We are to live in grace – knowing both God’s kindness and severity. Let us always be thankful for undeserved, unmerited kindness that Jesus has given, continues to give and will give forever.

Pastor Timothy reveals to us from Romans 11:11-15 that God’s commitment to the Jews (and their jealousy) means glorious salvation for all.

Pastor Timothy shows from Romans 11:1-10 that Paul is saying that God will always save a remnant from Israel even though God is also punishing Israel. The call for us is to continue to pray for the Jewish nation, to evangelize the world around us and to pray that we would be humbled at the salvation God has given to us.
