Senior Sergeant from the Merredin Police filled us in on the cases of vandals causing damage in town, both at the Pioneer Cemetery and at the Vietnam War Memorial in Roy Little Park, there is good news in that the culprits have been found.

Whilst Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan was in town, the question of funding cuts to CRCs couldn't be avoided and she has said cuts need to be made to cater for “really, really important” investments.

*This week National Road Safety Week and this morning it’s unfortunate to report that we’ve had yet another fatal crash on our country roads. In Wongan Hills on Friday night the life was lost of a young man in his 20s.

Macca fills us in with a big review of the football and netball in the Avon over the weekend, big blow outs on the scoreboard this week with a lot of the matches.
