Today in Northam there is a public forum being held in regards to a Sustainable Health Review. I thought I'd get Aunty Fils 2 cents on it seeing as she has worked in the health industry as a nurse for many years and might have some thoughts on funding. Always a delight :) 

Lach Searl from Mental Health Australia had a chat with me this morning in light of today being Mental Health Awareness Day. He speaks about this years campaign, 'Do you see what I see?’, challenging perceptions on mental illness aiming to reduce stigma.

Brenda is the returning officer this year for the Merredin Local Government Elections and she fills us in on her role and how to go about the somewhat confusing voting pacakges we've recieved in the mail. 

Local Government Elections are currently on at the moment and the big day is October 21st in Northam. CEO of the Northam Shire Jason Whiteaker gives us some details on how to get your vote in and why it's important to do so :)
