In part 2 of this message, the Illusion of Lust, I want to talk about how to develop healthy appetites. If we feed godly desires, we will be satisfied with godly things.

*Because of the topic material this podcast is definitely not for young kids* In part 1 of this 2 part message, I want to address the counterfeit nature of the lust that is in this world. Satan is the master of deception and illusion. He is seasoned in leading people astray with mirages and seductive lies. But there is something very real and very much stronger on the inside of us: The Divine nature of God, and it separates us from the corruption that is in this world through lust.

God has a path for each one of us to walk on. But human nature is to make your own way, and to make your own path, and to follow the way that seems right to man. If we want to stay on Gods path, we have to avoid the illusions and distractions that Satan uses to bait us off of Gods path of life, light, and truth. On today’s episode, I want to talk about staying on God’s path.

God leads us with conviction, not confusion. In fact, most often confusion is the result of violating what you already know on the inside. Clarity is lost in the muddy waters. In this episode, I want to talk about how to cure confusion by holding fast to the truth. ✂️ 💭

What are you excited about? Do you find yourself looking at your watch when you’re in church, just waiting to get back to watching the news, or checking social media, or playing video games? The more invested our hearts become in the Kingdom of God, the more excited we will be about the things of God.

In today’s episode I want to talk about the Authority of the Believer. There are two laws at work in the world: the law of sin and death, and the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. The latter transcends and liberates us from the former. But we have to not only know the authority that’s been given to us in Christ, but we have to lay down that law in our life, and let the devil know that we are as serious about this fight as he is.
