The heat has been the story this week with temps in the high 80's and low 90's. Matt and I also discuss my live stream about what the average dog really is. And for you dog owners, here is some advice as to what to do when your dog is too intense to meet guests at your house.

For some of us during quarantine we had a lot of time on our hands. And that means that we had time to train our dogs, even if it was just 5 minutes a day. This was my advice to everyone during quarantine that could also be useful for dog owners on their days off.

We had another great week last week, and we still haven't missed a day of pack walks since we re-opened. Matt and I review some appointments, the Academy, and when boarding will open up.

Here is an update on my 2 dogs Jemma & May. Hard to believe that Jemma is 2 years old already!

Matt and I discuss how one dog has made a HUGE change with our new daycare model. Plus he got a new puppy so he talks about what his very first night looked like.

And then we get into some very deep conversation about dogs and what's been on our minds all week.

It was great to finally record a podcast with Tim. He is currently in the middle of an expansion and wait until you hear how small his previous facility was. Tim is a down to earth guy who wants to help people and learn as much as he can along the way. After hearing this episode you will know why Tim and I get along so well.

Now that people are starting to go back to work we are seeing big changes in the dogs these days. I talked about this almost 2 months ago that it was going to be a problem for some dogs.

Our 3rd week back with our new program is now in the books! The dogs continue to thrive under this new structure. Next week we will be back at full strength when Renae returns.

Picking the right rescue dog can be quite the task but there are certain things to keep in mind when doing so. There are also things that you shouldn't do.....it's a big decision either way you look at it.

We are seeing HUGE differences in the dogs since our daycare program change. It's amazing how well all the dogs work with each other, and everything we do, we do together. Listen in to how Matt started giving lessons on his own this week.
