What a wonderful conversation I had with Kelly. It was refreshing to hear of her work with packs of dogs, pack therapy, and her opinions on dealing with clients. She has so much experience from working dogs as a child, dealing with Katrina dogs, and now studying dogs full time while taking care of her own pack of 15 dogs. You are going to enjoy this one!

This episode is jump started in the first 2 minutes after Mike explains how he couldn't hear anything until he was 4-years old. From that point until now dogs have been in Mike's blood from pet dog training to law enforcement training and everything in between. This might be some of the best advice I've given out. If you take your dog to a park, path, or to play dates this is the episode for you! I've learned so much lately from observing dogs meeting each other and playing for the first time. It's all about how they establish rules first before they get right into playing. They need to be taught to one another before the game starts. Enjoy!

It's been a BUSY couple of weeks with President's Week and also School Vacation week. We have some dogs boarding with us that we haven't seen in a while. Previously we would have dealt with these dogs differently because that's all we had known.
