Even though the disciples have seen the risen Christ, their beloved Jesus, they are unsure what to do. John 21 tells us that they decide to go back fishing. What happens when Jesus finds them, once again not able to catch any fish?

What can we learn from it?

This Sunday in 2 Samuel 7-8 we find that David is his usual precocious self, planning great things for God.

Is this what God wants? Maybe he should pause to find out.

Thankfully God is going to tell him anyway, And we get to learn alongside him that sometimes God says no, but has something better planned for us all along!

As David enters his Golden Era, you can easily see that his heart is seeking after God. But his eagerness gets him into trouble.

Once again let's learn together what Jesus has for us through this hard passage.

We continue the journey with David. How will he live out his Kingship? Perhaps that crown starts to go to his head, but there seems to be a few more faults in this man after God's own heart. What can we learn as we continue this story of war, love, murder and crowns?
