Verona Common Council Votes Against Flock Camera Contract Extension
Verona’s Common Council voted against renewing their contracts with Flock Safety - a technology company that has come under increasing scrutiny due to data privacy concerns.
The move comes 3 months after the Wisconsin Examiner published a report reviewing how law enforcement agencies across Wisconsin used Flock data, and found gaps in transparency around why certain data searches were performed.
