Hello those creatures of the night, welcome back to Gem Mint Horror. Your favorite late night radio show, I am your host Joel here to keep you insomniacs company while fighting off sleep. Now if this is your first time tuning into the show well here on Gem Mint Horror we talk about lesser known horror films in order to find you guys a new favorite horror movie. We don’t talk about big budget horror films or new releases on regular episodes. I usually aim for films that are lesser known or deserve a second chance because all films deserve that respect. Now tonights episode is a foreign Netflix original that I loved when I first saw it and after seeing it again for you guys believe it should be talked about again and if you were iffy about seeing it well now I am here to tell you to watch it. That film is Veronica and let me tell you this is one of those Netflix films that was made with so much care and passion behind it. Veronica is about a case in Madrid, 1991. A teen girl finds herself besieged by an evil supernatural force after she played Ouija with two classmates. This movie has a simple but interesting back of the box but its the execution of the film that makes this movie terrifying. This movie is directed by one of my favorite Spaniard directors Paco Plaza who if you haven't seen his other films watch them next !
