We're finally back and so sorry for the delay in episodes. Life, man.
On this episode, we're discussing the complexity of the Veronica-Piz-Logan-Parker love square, where Logan throws his new lady an outrageous birthday party but then gets sad face when Piz kisses Veronica. Keith catches Piz and Wallace with fake IDs, and Veronica catches the monster vandalizing a local restaurant owned by a Middle Eastern family.
This week, we're investigating Veronica's day in a holding cell, Logan and Parker's rising chemistry and closeness, just how far one would go to protect their family, and of course, the tragedy that results in Sheriff Lamb's death.
In "Postgame Mortem", we're investigating the mysterious death of Wallace's basketball coach, the bittersweet letter of recommendation from Dean O'Dell, Mindy and Landry's misaligned alibis, and how children are not as naïve to emotions as some adults might think.
This week, we're investigating who slipped a college student, Bonnie, RU-486 causing her miscarriage, the on-going Logan-Veronica-Madison debacle, how anger can tear you apart, a discussion on forgiveness, and more information on the Dean's murder.
In "Poughkeepsie, Tramps and Thieves", we're investigating Madison Sinclair's incessant need to cause trouble, Veronica's hunt for Max's "one that got away", whether you can be with someone who has not healed from their trauma, how someone's past affects your relationship, and the sex worker industry as a whole.
Happy New Year and thank you to all of our loyal and new listeners!
'Poughkeepsie, Tramps and Thieves' Episode Breakdown
This week's investigation is aboot the Canadian wonderland Mac and Veronica provide in their dorm, the infinitely impressive level of obliviousness Mac has when it comes to flirtatious guys but also how her perception can be a reflection of her self-worth, Piz misreading V's signals, and somehow Angela's fish-phobia ties in with the story of the missing monkey.
TW: Rape, Assault, Trauma

Episode Synopsis:
Selma Rose, the wealthy grand-daughter of the founder of Hearst College and a member of the Hearst College Board of Trustees, mysteriously disappears the night before she is to cast a swing vote that will determine the fate of the Greek system on campus. Keith, with Veronica's help, is hired by Dean O'Dell to investigate the disappearance. Meanwhile, Veronica has been rehired as a photographer at the Hearst Free Press, but she and Logan fight over her involvement in the rape case.
We strive for audio perfection as much as we can, but unfortunately you will hear Amanda's audio spike a little bit and for that we apologize. We did as best we could to make it work for this episode and we'll make sure next week is cleaner!
In "Of Vice and Men", we are investigating the disappearance of dorm-mate, Sully, after his girlfriend, Meryl, comes to town and thinks aliens might have abducted him. Wallace and Mac are missed, but there is plenty of Piz to go around, as Veronica stays in Wallace's dorm with Piz to avoid Keith due to his affair with Harmony. Also, Veronica and Logan are on shaky waters after he refuses to tell Veronica what Mercer's alibi is, and Veronica gets drugged in the Hearst cafeteria.
