Unmasking the Illusion of Goodness: Embracing Christlikeness

In a world where everyone strives to be good or nice, we as Christians are called to a higher standard – to be Christlike. It's important to recognize that being nice or good, in the context of people pleasing, is not our ultimate calling. Jesus, Himself, did not prioritize being perceived as nice or good.

God created the world in Six days and on the seventh day He rested! What does this connote? It shows that God took his time to build, mold and shape the Earth. Six days might seem small as it isn't even not up to a week! thereby making the creation story unbelievable. Yet the Six days depicts time, energy, resources and intentionality by God to create something out of nothing. It shows that the creation story is not one borne out of impulse but out of thoroughness and care of which puts us in awesome wonder at his deeds. In relation to our lives, how often do we hand over the wheels of our lives to this same God to handle, control and aid?

This Episode gives an insight into the saving Nature of God in the lives of the Israelites. Here we see how God comes to their rescue from the hands of the Philistines. However we must be ready to free ourselves from the hook of sin in order for us to fully experience the help of God!.
