While the gospel of Mark presents Christ as a servant, at the end of the book we see Him a servant no more. Mark ends, as do each of the gospels, with Christ's ascension into heaven. In this lesson, we examine the prophetic and spiritual significance of Christ being seated at God's right hand.

In Mark's version of the Great Commission, Christ tells the disciples that certain miraculous signs will follow as people believe the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom. Despite the claims of many, we do not see these signs in operation today. In this lesson we learn why the Great Commission is not the "marching orders" for the body of Christ.

As reports started to circulate about the empty tomb and appearances of Christ, the disciples were slow to believe in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is not the Twelve Disciples, but the women who ministered to Christ, who become the first witnesses of His resurrection on the first day of the week.

We examine the chronology of the crucifixion and burial of the Lord Jesus Christ.

At the moment of Christ's death, He "cried with a loud voice." Not a cry of despair or sorrow, this was a cry of victory as Christ completed the work for which He had come to the earth.
