A non essential part of the DC universe? Its possible that Affleck and Cavill have walked out, that universe doesn't include Batman or Superman.   4) Flash stand alone being bumped up.   5) Joss Whedon effect, can we pinpoint the moment that DC/WB made hasty decisions?
