This week, Pastor Phil asked us-- What voices in your life do you listen to the most? What voice do you submit to? The world? Insecurity? The Holy Spirit? We often give into insecurity, not realizing that it’s allowing us to live outside of who God has called and created us to be. The message this week gives us some points to reflect on and think about whether we need to shift who and what we're listening and submitting to. Let's dive in!🙏

This week Pastor Armando from Northlands Church (in Norcross, GA) brought a message on how God is calling us to go deeper. Comfort and contentment are just stagnation in disguise. And we know from scripture that an invitation from Jesus always comes with purpose, and that He will never leave us or forsake us!💚 

If God has called you to it, He will get you through it. Will we trust Him? The Bible tells us that those who look to Him will be radiant with joy. Let’s remember that, knowing that the big things we go through point us to our big God. This week Pastor Phil leads leads us in this conversation. Let's dive into this next message of the King of Kings message together!

Today we talked about how important it is for us to be vulnerable with trusted people around us. The less vulnerable we are with one another, the more vulnerable we are to the enemy. Let’s not be driven by pride, fear, or insecurity. Let's live for Jesus and His Heavenly Kingdom, seeking to be known by Him, rather than pursuing the things of this world🙏

This week we continue our "Three Kings" sermon series with the story of David and Goliath. We look at how David operated in his God-given gift and calling to conquer the Philistine warrior giant. He didn't back down or think less of what God could do in his life as "just" a shepherd. He had seen God work in his life before, preparing him and growing him for that very moment, and he knew he would see Him move again. He was confident because of who His God was (and still is), and he went forward into battle with confidence with his gift. This week, Pastor Phil encourages us that we are all called to do the same as God's people, and he gives us scripture and tools to put this into action in our lives. May we learn from God's Word together this week.🙏

Can We Depend on Our Talent?

This week Pastor Phil leads us in a sermon on the anointing on David from the Holy Spirit and how that was more valuable than any talent. This week and in our entire lives, let’s value the power of the Holy Spirit over our talents themselves. But let's also not disregard that the Lord gives us talents that He can work through with His Holy Spirit. Tell the Lord you need Him, and trust that He is working in the “insignificant” days. Pastor Phil dives into scripture and ways we can put this into practice. Let's learn together today!

Are we picking and choosing parts of the Bible and trying to make it submit to us and what we want? Are we picking and choosing on our calling, and submitting the rest to fear and false humility? Lord, help us submit to You, trusting that You know best and You’re in charge!

Has God given you a calling that you have submitted to fear? Here is your reminder that fear and insecurity are not healthy humility. Healthy humility allows us to believe in what God is doing in us (and through other people), and to be grateful for it! It’s time we walk in our callings, friends. Healthy humility charts the course for the identity in Christ we walk in. We're called to walk in healthy identity and to tell others about the healthy identity the Lord has for them too.

Three Kings Series, a series on the lives of David, Saul, and Absalom-- how they viewed humility and how their heart posture before the Lord shaped their leadership." In 1 Samuel 8, the Israelites were begging for an earthly king because all of the nations around them had one. They wanted to be like the world around them, and even though the Lord warned against it, they thought they knew what was best for them. They saw not too long after this that they definitely didn't know what was best. Pastor Phil encourages us to reflect on areas of our lives where we can be more teachable, not thinking too highly of ourselves, valuing others and serving others, and loving the Lord more than ourselves.

Men and women, we have value because God created us, so this week Pastor Phil leads us in a message on how to live the way He designed and called us to. He talks about marriage and how to operate in a Biblical dynamic.
We serve the Living God, and He is moving speaking and leading us today, men and women.
