The spiritual discipline of studying scripture is vital for every Christian to know the truth of God's word.

Jesus is the only begotten son of God, and He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

2 Corinthians 12:10 (ESV)

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Jesus is the Meshiac ben David: The Messiah in the type of David.  He is the kingly Messiah who has accomplished everything set out for him, and will return one day to sit on his throne forever.

The Messiah has been presented in two types: One that follows the type of the OT Joseph, and the other that follows David.  Jesus is the One and Only Messiah that fulfills both types.

God’s manifest presence was essential to the Israelites.  As VLC moves into a new building, God’s presence is just as essential.

Today we as a church family give thanks for the many things God has provided.

Pray without ceasing, keep your eyes open, have a thankful heart, and always be ready.

Paul reminds us to value our relationships and treat each other like Christ has treated us, with grace, love, and compassion

Paul encourages the Colossians to actively build harmony within the church.
