Samantha Kubek is an Equal Justice Works Fellow at  New York Legal Assistance Group's Legal Health Division. Samantha’s focus is on helping female veterans access VA health care and benefits. She has widely written and spoken on military sexual trauma known as MST. Samantha received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law and earned her B.A. from Georgetown University. She talks with host Jim Fausone on these topics for which she is a passionate advocate.

Clinton D. Pearman is a certified brain injury specialist and the regional education coordinator for the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) based at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.  He explains his 31 years in the Marine Corps, his education, the work of DVBIC, and the types of TBIs with host Jim Fausone.  He gives some great advice about education and "don't be a punk" get a medical checkup if warranted.

Noah Currier is injured in a vehicle accident outside Camp Pendleton upon returning from Iraq.  He has a six year funk with drug use, thoughts of suicide and pity.  Noah explains to host Jim Fausone how adaptive sports got him Oscar Mike (on the move) and how he started Oscar Mike apparel company and foundation to help fellow quadriplegic veterans be Oscar Mike.

Ryan Pitts served for 6 years in the US Army and during a 2008 firefight was wounded but fought on against overwhelming odds. He was awarded the Medal of Honor in 2014.  Today he works in the defense industry and is an ambassador for the Cohen Veterans Network of 10 mental health clinics which provide free care to veterans, service members and family members.  Jim Fausone explores Pitts' service and checks in for an update on CVN.

Mission United is a program under the United Way umbrella in many states.  Army veteran and Mission United volunteer Stephen B. Moss discusses how Mission United helps veterans and families get back on their feet with host Jim Fausone. Mission United works as a unifier of community resources helping the veteran and the family locate the needed services and support.

Blue Water Navy veterans have been seeking fairness in VA health and disability benefits for over a decade.   CDR John Wells (ret) legal advisor to the Blue Water Navy Association and executive director of Military Veterans Advocacy discusses the proposed Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2017 and toxic bases with host Jim Fausone.

Jenny Pacanowski joined the Army and found herself driving convoy medical support and ambulances through some of Iraq's most volatile war zone in 2004.  She discusses her service, health, reintegration issues and how writing and poetry aided in her becoming emotionally connected again.  Host Jim Fausone explores her service and her warrior writer spirit.
