This week on VGK Today Dan D'Uva sits down with Scripps Sports TV Producer Tavis Strand who produces every VGK regular season game. He takes us through his career path, what it's like behind the scenes during VGK TV broadcasts, and how he and the crew have fun along the way. Tavis dives into how he aims to constantly improve VGK broadcasts, what it's like working with his wife Susan, and his experience being with the Golden Knights since the beginning. At the end of the show we hear comments from the two newest Golden Knights: Raphael Lavoie and Brandon Saad.

This week on VGK Today Ashali Vise catches up with Vegas Golden Knights Foundation Chief Community Officer and President Kim Frank to discuss Maverick's departure from the VGK and his next steps toward becoming a service dog. Kim details her experience with Maverick over the last year, how he's become ready for this moment, and where he may potentially land after his official service dog training with America's VetDogs.

VGK Today is back for 2025 and to kick off the new year we bring in Gary Lawless and Shane Hnidy for a midseason check-in with the Golden Knights at the halfway point of the regular season. The pair discuss the strengths of the VGK to this point of the season, how a long summer may be aiding their early form, and any potential concerns or questions that remain for Vegas that will need to be solved as we draw nearer to the postseason.

This week Dave Goucher catches up with Adin Hill to talk about the holiday season and the spot the VGK are in heading into the Christmas break. The pair chat about holiday shopping amidst the busy NHL schedule, Adin's brother Garrison visiting him this month, and the team's recent form. We also get to know the newest Golden Knight Tanner Laczynski after he was called up from the Henderson Silver Knights. 

This week Dan D'Uva helps give us a look at the Holiday Knights of Giving as the Golden Knights give back to the Las Vegas community during the month of December. Listen in as Cole Schwindt and Keegan Kolesar chat about their time at the Donna Street Community Center for the KABOOM! playground design day as well as Keegan's work with Adam's Place, a non-profit that aids youth who are experiencing loss. Then Nicolas Roy and Victor Olofsson discuss their work at the Desert Breeze Community Center working with Three Square to pass out food to 300 families. All the guys wrap things up by sharing what the Christmas season means to them.

This week on VGK Today Ashali Vise sits down with Bruce Cassidy to chat about the 4 Nations Face-Off. Bruce delves into what his role will be serving on Jon Cooper's staff for Team Canada, his excitement for being around great players, and the significance of the Golden Knights having seven players selected to the tournament rosters. Later on we hear comments from Noah Hanifin, Adin Hill, and William Karlsson as to what it means to them to be representing their countries.

This week on VGK Today Daren Millard has an extended chat with Jeff Sharples. While you may have caught Jeff on VGK TV broadcasts you may not know much about his background, which includes his full-time job of as an airline pilot. Jeff explains his hockey background, how he got involved with the Golden Knights, and his overall passion for the game. To wrap up the show we hear a piece of Dan D'Uva's chat with Cal Burke from Ottawa to help us get acquainted with the newest Vegas forward.

This week on VGK Today, Shane Hnidy catches up with Jack Eichel's dad Bob during the Fathers Trip. Hear some of Bob's thoughts on Jack's game, this year's VGK team, and fun stories of their relationship. We also hear some fun tidbits about the trip from Brayden McNabb, Cole Schwindt, Tanner Pearson, and Tomas Hertl. 

This week on VGK Today Alex Pietrangelo joins Gary Lawless for a fun chat about Alex's life off the ice. Alex delves into fatherhood and his journey through it now with four kids. He updates us on his daughter Evelyn's recovery from illness, speaks on how many of his teammates now have kids, and details his favorite things about being a father. To end the show we also take a look at the biggest storylines around the NHL, including the red-hot Winnipeg Jets and the 4 Nations Face-off projected rosters.

This week Dave Goucher chats with Brett Howden, who is off to the best start of his NHL career with five goals through the first 11 games. Brett speaks on the team's recent play, fitting in with the VGK and feeling like he belongs in the NHL, plus how being a father has shaped his mindset. We also have some fun with a VGK Halloween story to close out the show.
