Welcome back to the club!

This week, we have a jam-packed show for ya today. Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir are back but are also joined by Josh Miller and Graydon Webb to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of VGU.TV! The gang links up to talk all about the games that we need everyone to play in preparation for the VGU.TV Game of the Year discussions next year. We're all playing the Elden Rings and Horizon Forbidden Wests of the world, but there are a bunch of games that we want to shout out now so that GOTY discussions can go a bit smoother, so we make time for them now so we can play them over the next month or so.

And finally, the Messy MashUp makes its grand return! So, play along and try to guess both what two games are being combined, but also who will win this years game!

On the Eve of God of War Ragnarok and in the shadow of the recently released Modern Warfare II and Bayonetta 3, the big fall release season is already halfway over. But before we run headfirst into the rest of November, we look back to some of the other games from 2022 that we still need to get back to. Will Emmett finally play Rolerdrome? I’ll be honest, this week’s news pretty much sucks all around. If not for the recently announced Silent Hill and Resident Evil showcases, this episode would have been nothing but bad news. But luckily for you, It’s only mostly bad news! But don't fret, Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir manage to have a decent discussion about both Bayonetta 3’s voicing controversy and the (second) death of G4 regardless. And we do get a reprieve from the bad news to talk about our expectations for the future of Silent Hill and Resident Evil.
