Welcome back to The Player’s Club! This episode has  Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir returning to talk about the current state of game demos. With the new and improved PlayStation Plus promising 2-hour game trials once it releases this summer, it’s time to consider if locking trials behind this paywall is a good idea. Also, what are the most influential demos of the past, and how did we get to the current state of game demos? We tackle all that and more in this week's Topic of the Show.

Also, in that Whatcha Playin segment, Al talks about their time with Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot while Emmett talks about his time with Knack, Borderlands 3, and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep for Borderlands 2.

Welcome back to the club this week, we have TIMESTAMPS! DO YOU SEE THAT DOWN THERE? Yep, you can finally jump to whatever topic you like if you only wanna hear part of the show instead of sitting through the whole thing. But you’re still gonna listen to the whole thing, right? 😏

But besides timestamps, Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir are here to react to some of the updates about Activision Blizzard. There have been a number of new developments and surprises in both the lawsuit and the acquisition by Microsoft in the several months since we’ve talked about the company, so it’s time we give some updated thoughts on the matter, huh?

Also, in the Whatcha Playin segment, Al talks about MLB The Show 22 and a few Comics, and Emmett talks about his time with Kirby and the Forgotten Land, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, and God Hand.

I was stuck in a video game podcast. Funny as hell, it was the worst thing I could think of.

Welcome to the Players Club yet again! This week, Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir are back to talk about the announcement of remakes for Max Payne 1 and 2. We both talk about how excited we are, what we hope to see from it, and what other remakes we are also holding out hope for from other developers.

And after that main topic, Al talks about their time with MLB The Show 22 and Star Trek Online while Emmett talks about Guns Up Mobile, Cookie Clicker Mobile, and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom.

This week, Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir have reunited to give their impressions of the biggest news of the last week. And of course, the biggest story right now is the reveal of PlayStation Sparticus, or as it’s now known, PlayStation Plus. Both of us talk about the new tiers, the new features, the incredibly anticlimatic reveal, and our disappointment at the lack of native PS3 playback. Plus, we even talk a bit about the Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 delay.

And then, in the Whatcha Playin segment, Emmett talks about his final few hours with Horizon Forbidden West and Al talks about their time with Death Stranding and Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

It is I, Emmett Watkins Jr, back once again to talk video games. This week has been pretty slow news and release-wise, so I’m hopping on to do a rare solo episode! Here I’ll be talking about some of the smaller news that has come out in the past week, including Sony’s purchase of Haven Studios, Fortnite’s new season, Humble Bundle’s Stand for Ukraine bundle, and the announcement of the next Witcher game.

And it the Whatcha Playin segment, I get to talk about my time wrapping up Lego Marvel’s Avengers and Far Cry 5 and my time with Ultrakill. Plus, I sneak in a bit more talk about Horizon Forbidden West.
