This is it, the culmination of 20 matchups over 11 months, with 40 different PlayStation icons, mascots, and characters. We've come a long way from the starting 11, and now it's time for Emmett Watkins Jr, Graydon Webb, and Josh Miller to look back at each match-up, see which characters got overlooked, and then go into full detail on what a potential PlayStation All-Stars sequel could be.

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to the Showdown, including Allan Muir and guess contributors Los Harrow's Hunter Davenport, The Trophy Room/Best Friends Talk Funny's Kyle Stevenson and Dualshockers' Cameron Hawkins. We are finally back with another episode of the Player's Club Podcast! This week, Emmett Watkins Jr, Josh Miller, and Allan Muir are here to discuss what's happening in video games this week!

With a new name for the podcast comes a new format! But to start, we still begin the show with what we're playing, including Devil May Cry V, Death Stranding, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and more!

Instead of a dedicated news segment every episode, we now have a dedicated "interactive" segment where we play some kind of game on the show, similar to the fantastic Game Informer Show. After a bit of a hiatus, the boys are back! This time under a new banner and for a different site as well! Emmett and Allan are joined by Graydon Webb and Josh Miller to talk about the status of where we all used to write and why Allan chose to go home again.

Today, we recorded the show right in the middle of all the Gamescom news so it was a much more delightfully hecktic show than usual. Emmett talks about his time with Hard Reset Redux and Allan talks more about Dragon Age Inquisition very quickly before we get to the news section.

The news? ITS MASSIVE. We go over all of the Xbox announcements from Gamescom and also talk about some of the AA and indie titles being shown, as well as a few new Switch titles. But the biggest news is Sony's acquisition of Insomniac Games, and we definitely freak out about that appropriately.
